Our team, headed up by our Chief Instructor and CEO, John Fleming is passionate about the industry they work in evert day, and this is their way of giving back to the industry that has given so much to them.

Welcome to the FPV RPAS Scholarship Program.

Here at FPV Australia, we like to give back to the very industry that has supported us over the last 20 years.  So we have again opened our scholarship program that will enable one person to be put through our training program and come out the other side ready to enter this fantastic industry.  Each scholarship is valued at over $6000 and includes a fully operational Remote Operator’s Certificate (ReOC) assessed through our preferred ReOC provider, Uncrewed Approvals.

Who Can Apply?

Anyone from the age 18 to 65 is eligible to apply, as long as you are a permanent resident of Australia, and meet the requirements in order to hold RPAS Certification in Australia.

Note:  Employees of FPV Australia and their direct family members are not eligible.

There is 1 Scholarship available.

What is included in the Scholarship?

FPV Australia will put you through a full 5 Day RePL Course to gain the Remote Pilot’s License.  FPV Australia will then provide completed manuals for ReOC, and cover all fees and charges to CASA for the issue of the ReOC in the name of the recipient, or their company etc.

It includes

  • RePL and AROC and all CASA fees
  • Lifetime access to all learning materials.
  • Remote Operator’s Certificate assess by Uncrewed Approvals (fees covered for the first 12 months)
  • One year of AVCRM Compliance Management Software to manage the ReOC
  • Chief Remote Pilot Compliance Training
  • Night Operations Training

FPV Australia will also provide ongoing consultancy services to assist in completing the scholarship and be fully certified once completed and our Chief Instructor, John, will be the recipient’s personal mentor throughout the program.

There is no catch!!  We just want to give a little back.  There is no obligations whatsoever on behalf of the recipient. Once completed, that recipient is free to do as they please.  The aim is to get he recipient fully certified including the ReOC in order to give them a head start in the drone industry.
