CORE – Compliance & Operational Readiness Evaluation

CORE
Compliance & Operational Readiness Evaluation

Confidence in compliance. Assurance in operations.

We, at FPV Australia can complete a full evaluation on your ReOC processes and procedures to ensure you are compliant.

10 CORE Principles

  • Review of the approved ReOC Operations Manual and procedures
  • Evidence sampling to confirm procedures are actually implemented

CASA expectation: Operators must operate in accordance with their approved manuals, and have documented systems for operational control.

  • Review of organisational structure, chief remote pilot / managers, delegations, and accountabilities

CASA expectation: Clear governance and responsible personnel overseeing RPAS operations.

  • Review of training system (initial + recurrent), competency checks, inductions, and pilot authorisations

CASA expectation: Remote pilots and supporting personnel are trained, competent, and current for the tasks they perform.

  • Review of flight planning, site assessment, approvals, briefing, flight execution, and post-flight actions

CASA expectation: Standardised procedures that ensure operations are conducted safely and legally under Part 101.

  • Review of hazard identification, risk assessments, control measures, and review cycles

CASA expectation: Operators actively manage operational risk (not just “have a template”).

  • Review of internal reporting, investigation processes, corrective actions, and escalation (including CASA notification pathways)

CASA expectation: Incidents are reported, managed, and used to prevent recurrence.

  • Review of maintenance procedures, defect reporting, repair control, and maintenance records

CASA expectation: RPAS are maintained in a condition for safe operation, with traceable records.

  • Review of record keeping for flights, training, maintenance, approvals, and compliance evidence
  • Review of document control (versions, approvals, distribution, updates)

CASA expectation: Operators maintain accurate records and ensure personnel use current approved documents.

  • Review of internal compliance checks, audit history, management review, and corrective action closure

CASA expectation: ReOC holders actively monitor compliance and correct issues, rather than relying on CASA to find them.

  • Evaluation report with non-conformances, observations, and practical recommendations
  • Optional follow-up Evaluation / closure verification

CASA expectation: Identified issues are documented, corrected, and prevented from recurring.
